A rare moment

All six boys sitting still together! No one was crying, in fact everyone was smiling!!

From Left to Right:

Tripp, Grant, Cole, Ethan, Reed and Cooper

from mom to meme

My mother would never let my sister or me play of things like this when we were young, but she has no problem spending every quarter in her purse to let these two play for hours....

Happy Mother's Day

Hope all those mothers out there had a wonderful day! I had a wonderful day. We went to church and Ryan's parents went along today. After church we went to my sister Julie's for lunch. For those of you that don't already know this but my sister has 3 boys also. So today was a full fledge day of play for Cole, Ethan, Reed, Grant, Cooper and Tripp. The boys had so much fun playing together and Julie, mom Grannie, Dad, Ryan, Anthony and I enjoyed chatting in the house. Julie has the best yard for boys to play in!

Thanks Julie for a wonderful day!

Rain, rain go away...

It has been raining for what seems like days! If I could stay in bed with a good book I wouldn't care much but as a mother of 3 boys enough is enough! Let these boys go outside please God...

Fun on the farm

Reed and Cooper spent the weekend at my parents. I had a lot to get done around the house and yard so they went to Meme and Big Daddy's for the night. I went Sunday after church to pick them up and we went by Aunt Judy and Uncle Sonny's house and had so much fun on the tree swing. Then we made our way to "nannies" to dig some worms.

Reed's checkup

Reed had a well child check up today. Yes he was 4 in December! He needed a physical for his pre-k application so we went. Of course he passed with flying colors, with the exception of a small ear infection in his left ear. He weighed 34 pounds and measured 38 5/8 inches. Poor fella is just going to be a shorty!

Been a while

Sorry I have been a blog slacker but well life happens....

Lets see if I can update on everyone

Ryan and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary on March 12th. It was a quiet day but the next weekend we took our first cruise. We flew to Miami and set sail on the Carnival Imagination for a 4day 3 night cruise to Nassau, Bahamas!! And the best part we went just the two of us! You heard that right no kids!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We went to every show and ate whatever we wanted. For those of you that have never cruised I highly recommend it! We are already planing our return adventure and this time we want to take Cole along. The other two boys are still to young yet, especially with a mother that has major anxiety issues with falling!

Cole is almost finished with 4th grade! I can't believe he only has 6 weeks to go! He already has many things planed for this summer. He is going to 4H camp in June and we hope to squeeze a football camp in also. His Big Daddy is also expecting some help with the hay this summer!

Reed is deep into t-ball. He has had 2 games so far and of course is the star of the team! We had sign ups for Pre-k this past Tuesday. We won't know for sure until end of July/1st of August if he got in so everyone continue to pray he does because he is so ready for "big school" He of course continues to be a joy and sweet boy!

Cooper is well Cooper! He is such a goof ball. And huge mommas boy! I am so not used to that. Cole and Reed have always gone to anyone without any fuss. Not Coop. He wants his momma! I thought it would be nice, and don't get me wrong it is but sometimes it would be nice to cook supper without someone hanging off your leg :) He is an amazing boy and learns something new everyday! He is the best hugger of the bunch! Cooper loves to hug and squeeze everyone. We are going to start thinking about moving to the big bed in the next few weeks. He and Reed will share a room. He is also started using the potty some. Most mornings he wakes up dry and will go to the potty almost anytime you offer. We will get serious about it this summer when he can go "commando" if needed.

I will try and do better about updating about more mundane things but then most of you know how life with children is...

Its been a while...

I have been a blog slacker lately, sorry!

Lets see what have we been up to...

Cole has been playing basketball. He is playing Upwards at First Baptist Church in Estill Springs. Upwards is a church league for kids. It is really great way of teaching kids to understand the game and get in some great bible lessons. He has had a great time and really enjoys it!

Reed is well Reed. He turned 4 in December and he amazes me on a daily basis! We signed him up for t-ball today. He played last year and we all had a blast! The tiny tots league is for 3 and 4 year olds and teaches them the concept of baseball, no score is kept, everyone gets to bat each inning and everyone plays the field with a parent in tow. We are also in the process of getting ready for pre-k sign ups. Everyone pray he gets in! He loves his Mendo and Ms. Dianne but he really is ready for the structure of a real pre-k.

Little Cooper will be 2 in a week! Can you believe it. Boy has time flown by! Coop has started showing interest in the potty, he even poo poo'd on the potty this week. It was so funny. Ryan put Reed and Cooper in the tub and he and I were in the kitchen talking and all of a sudden Cooper comes running in the kitchen soaking wet. He starts trying to tell us something but I wasn't understanding him and he begins to pee on the kitchen floor. I scoop him up and ask him if he needs to potty and he shakes his head yes so I take him back to the bathroom and put him on the potty and he makes a poo poo. Of course we had a big celebration in the bathroom! I am sure we have a long way to go as I am not pushing it yet(he isn't even 2 yet) but I was so proud of him...

What else?? I will be 35 this month but honestly I still feel 22. Where has the time gone?? I am so completely blessed to have the wonderful life I do and I praise the lord daily for the gifts he has given me.
